Data protection.

A short, plain statement of how this website handles personal data — what is collected, why it is kept, and how to ask us to correct or remove it.

This statement is published by the office of Laurent Bien Legbane and applies to visitors of this website. It sets out, in simple terms, the limited personal data this site handles and what you may ask us to do with it.

01

What we collect

Browsing this site requires no account and no registration. We collect only what you choose to give us: when you use the contact form, your message is sent to our office by your own email application and is then held by us so we can reply to you; choosing a language stores a small preference cookie in your browser so your choice is remembered. Our hosting provider may also keep standard technical logs (address, browser, pages requested) to keep the site secure and available.

02

What we do not do

This site carries no advertising trackers, no marketing pixels and no behavioural profiling. We do not sell, rent or exchange your personal data with anyone.

03

Translation and service providers

Page translation is provided by Google Translate, which may set its own cookies and process information under its own privacy notice. Beyond that, your data reaches only the providers that host and operate this website, and never for their own purposes.

04

How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept only for as long as needed to answer you and to maintain an institutional record of our exchanges, then removed. Technical logs are retained briefly by our hosting provider for security reasons.

05

Your requests

You may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to the office address below and we will respond within ten business days.
